• TRAINING COURSE: CLIMATE CHANGE REPORTING AND COVERAGE FOR MEDIA PRACTITIONERS

      akerere University Centre for Climate Change Research and Innovations (MUCCRI) in partnership with Palladium is implementing a pilot intervention aimed at targeted training and mentorship of media professionals and partitioners (journalists, content creators and communicators) in climate change coverage and reporting. The pilot intervention is part of the Climate Smart Jobs (CSJ) Programme, a UK Government funded transformative initiative aimed at revolutionising the agri-business sector in Northern Uganda, focusing on creating resilient and sustainable on-farm and off-farm job opportunities. One important tool for doing is through offering a self-paced online climate change training course aimed at improving the capacity of journalists, content creators and communicators to report better on climate change.
